I'm back in Berkeley after spending the summer in London and Chicago. I've gone on leave from my PhD to transition into AI safety, and I'm working with Second Look Research on alignment in mid-training and post-training. I'm still searching for the optimum on the impact × fit landscape, and having the constant debate about whether I should keep doing technical research. I've been interested in model personas, psychology, and welfare.
Forever trying to read more. I've been reading a lot of Escaping Flatland and reflecting on how I approach interpersonal relationships. I adore Henrik's writing style, and his essays inspire me to write also. Hoping to launch something soon.
I've been thinking about productivity, agency, and how to not forget what matters—trying to spend more time in the upper right quadrant of the Eisenhower matrix.
